Share
There’s something comforting about a bowl of Aglio e Olio - simple ingredients, bold flavours, and a meal that’s ready in minutes. But sometimes, all you want is a creamier version without resorting to dairy or a lengthy list of ingredients.
That’s exactly where our Garlic & Pink Himalayan Salt Cheese Spread comes in. It melts into the pasta, creating a silky, rich sauce while keeping the garlicky, peppery soul of a classic Aglio e Olio intact.
Perfect for busy weeknights or when you’re craving restaurant-style pasta at home.

Ingredients
*200g spaghetti
* 2 tbsp olive oil
* 5–6 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
* 1 tsp chilli flakes (adjust to taste)
* 3–4 tbsp Garlic & Pink Himalayan Salt Cheese Spread
* ½ cup reserved pasta water
* Freshly cracked black pepper
* Fresh parsley or basil, chopped
* Vegan parmesan (optional)
* Salt, only if required
Method
1. Cook the pasta
Bring a pot of well-salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Before draining, reserve about ½ cup of the pasta water.
2. Make the garlic oil
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-low heat. Add the sliced garlic and cook gently until lightly golden and fragrant. Stir in the chilli flakes.
3. Create the creamy sauce
Reduce the heat and add the Garlic & Pink Himalayan Salt Cheese Spread. Pour in a little reserved pasta water and stir until the cheese spread melts into a smooth, glossy sauce.
4. Toss everything together
Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan along with more pasta water if needed. Toss until every strand is coated in the creamy garlic sauce.
5. Finish and serve
Season with freshly cracked black pepper and garnish with chopped parsley or basil. Finish with vegan parmesan if you like.
Serve immediately.
Tips for the Best Creamy Garlic Pasta
* Cook the garlic gently—don’t let it brown too much or it can become bitter.
* Pasta water is the secret to a silky, restaurant-style sauce.
* Add sautéed mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, asparagus, or roasted cherry tomatoes for extra flavour and texture.
* A squeeze of lemon juice at the end brightens the entire dish.
